Employee Shot Outside Lakewood Restaurant Posted: 04 Jan 2011 08:33 PM PST Related To Story Eric Hoffman POSTED: 7:58 pm MST January 4, 2011 UPDATED: 10:02 pm MST January 4, 2011 LAKEWOOD, Colo. -- An employee of the El Torito Bar & Grill in Lakewood was shot Tuesday night and police are looking for the gunman.The shooting was reported around 7:40 p.m. at 999 Sheridan Blvd."We received reports of a male subject down and officers did find an adult male shot in front of this establishment," said Andrea Joo, spokeswoman for the Lakewood Police Dept. Lizandro Murcado told 7NEWS his stepfather was the shooting victim. He described his stepfather as "always calm" and "a nice guy who respects people."The injured man was rushed to St. Anthony Central hospital.Police are interviewing possible witnesses to the shooting inside the restaurant, according to Joo.She said a dark-colored sport utility vehicle was seen leaving the parking lot about the time of the shooting and police are looking for that vehicle.
