BUCKHANNON -- The Station is located in Buckhannon. The restaurant specializes in steaks and seafood. It opened for business last year.

General Manager and Head Chef Joshua Bennett grew up in Tucker County. After working in guest services at Canaan Valley Resort, he continued to perfect his craft, and after finding out the owners of The Station had openings, he saw an opportunity to work with the owners and create a vision of high quality products to Upshur County.

"I was able to come in and use my knowledge and skills in the past to help provide something new to a nice restaurant for Buckhannon," said Bennett.

As you walk in you might want to step up to the hand crafted bar to enjoy your favorite beverage or sit in the partitions to enjoy a meal by watching your favorite program on eight large screen TV's.

The restaurant also features prime rib night and open mic on Saturdays.

The Station's menu features appetizers, soups and salads, 100 percent hand-cut angus beef and fresh seafood that comes in from coast to coast.

"We use the highest quality of angus beef all seafood nothing frozen packaged, hand cut the way it should be."

The restaurant also is expanding by adding additional room to hold banquets, conferences and special gatherings.

Starting in January 2011, they'll offer its Sunday brunch menu. The menu will feature eggs made to order, bacon, toast and biscuits. It will be presented in a buffet style and will also offer an upscale limited menu.
